Denis Chernikov
PRIVATE CLIENT ADVISOR — UAE

One person accountable for your matters in the Emirates.

I act for international private clients and their advisors on UAE matters — relocation, companies, residency, banking, property and transactions. Case by case, under NDA, with a defined fee and a single point of accountability.

CASE BY CASE

A defined matter, a defined fee agreed in writing, a defined outcome. No subscriptions, no retainers unless you ask for one. When the matter is closed, we are done — until the next one.

WITH YOUR ADVISORS

Much of my work comes by reference from wealth managers, lawyers and family offices. I report to the client and their advisors, not around them. Your client stays your client.

QUIETLY

NDA is standard. KYC applies to every engagement; it protects my clients as much as my practice. Discretion is not a service tier — it is the default.

"The most valuable service is sometimes a single sentence: don't proceed."

Where clients usually start

Most people arrive with a situation rather than a service request. These are the situations that come up most often, each written out end to end — the sequence, the real timelines, the cost, and where it breaks.

Asset protection and succession

What happens to UAE assets when nothing is arranged in advance:

Property by district

Prices, yields and what to verify before committing, district by district:

Relocation Coordinating a full move: structure, company, residency, banking, housing, schools.
Structures Designing the corporate structure and coordinating its formation and administration.
Residency Structuring the residency route and managing the process through licensed providers.
Banking Preparing the file and managing onboarding with the banks, including source of wealth.
Real estate Advising on acquisitions and coordinating the transaction, including off-market.
Transactions Buying and selling businesses; sourcing assets — vehicles, marine, aviation, collections.
Asset protection DIFC and ADGM wills, guardianship, ownership structures, succession.
Verification Checking a counterparty, a project or an offer before you are committed to it.

Common questions

What does a private client advisor in the UAE actually do?

I take a matter end to end: establish what needs to happen, design the structure, select and instruct the licensed specialists who execute it, and answer for the outcome. Clients deal with one person instead of coordinating ten vendors who each own a fragment and none of whom owns the result.

Do you execute the paperwork yourself?

No. Visas, registrations and transactions are executed by licensed providers — PRO agents, lawyers, RERA-licensed brokers, accountants. What I sell is that one person designs the whole thing, chooses who does what, and is accountable if it goes wrong.

How do you charge?

Case by case, with a fixed fee agreed in writing before any work starts. No hourly billing. Transactions are on a success fee. Retainers exist but are not the default — the model is deliberately matter-based.

Do you work with other advisors, or directly with clients?

Both. A significant part of the work comes by reference from family offices, private client lawyers and wealth managers whose clients have UAE matters. In those cases I report to the advisor, not around them — the client relationship stays theirs.

What is the minimum engagement?

There is no formal minimum, but the practice is built for matters where a single accountable coordinator changes the outcome. A diagnostic session at AED 2,500 establishes whether that is the case before either side commits to anything.

Describe your matter

Two or three sentences on the substance. I respond within one business day.
